Smart Service Program

To ensure maximum security and performance using SmartRigging, we have developed a unique service and maintenance system. It recognizes the fact that every sailor has different needs.

This way cruising sailors will not be bothered by unnecessary testing / checking / etc., yet they will be sure that their rigging is in good shape whenever they go sailing.

Racing teams on the other hand, will be checking their boats and rigging constantly, and SmartRigging will assist them to get the maximum out of the rigging. We will cooperate to find the optimum between reliability and performance. The SmartRigging service schedule is determined with two parameters:

Sailing time:
1. Less then five weeks a year
2. Five to 30 weeks a year
3. More then 30 weeks a year

Sailing intensity:
1. Cruising
2. High performance / offshore cruising
3. Racing

After choosing the right sailing time per year and sailing intensity the appropriate service schedule can be found with the Service Matrix. There are five possible schedules from A to E, ranging from just an annual visual inspection to a full monitoring system to replace stays at exactly the right moment.
